Sharon Mills, Diann Simmons and Colene Trinterud are working to set up a master email list to notify people of community events in Round Valley. We will be acting as the moderators of the site. The goal is to increase awareness of, and attendance at, community events.

This initial Round Valley Events list is comprised of community members whose current email addresses are already on an existing list that the three moderators have access to.

Before we proceed, we want to:
l. Make sure you'd like to be on the new rvevents list.
2. Assure you that your personal email address will not be visible to other recipients. Emails sent from this list will "hide" all other recipients
names and email addresses.
3. Remind you that we expect it will take a few months to fine tune the
process since this is a new community service, so please be patient.

Guidelines:
1. These are notices for community events only. No notifications for personal events such as garage sales will be posted.
2. If you are involved in a group, please choose one person as a spokesperson to notify rvevents in order to eliminate multiple notification.
3. All submissions to rvevents will be reviewed by the moderators to ensure compliance with the rules. The moderator reserves the right to reject any notification.
4. Please send notification in plain text form - the site cannot handle fancy flyers, graphics, multiple columns, attachments, etc.
5. Notification of events will automatically be sent as one group "batched" in a daily digest so you'll see a number of events in a single email.
